Each year we do things that bring us together and remind us of traditions specific to ourselves, community and, family and friends. They remind us of who we are and who has come and gone. It is my hope for this year that each of us enjoy and treasure our time together.

Time to clean up. The paintings have been completed and they are drying on the easel as I write to you. Now, I see what else has been surrounding me. Palettes for each painting brimming with color, rags, tissues, brushes, cats, boxes. Creative chaos. When I have a painting going, I don’t see that stuff. In the end, I get the paintings and the mess.
