Holidays are Here
Dec 10, 2023
Celebrating this week. My classes take a break in December. But, before we do, we celebrate! We gather to celebrate each other and the season.
We travel each year and paint. The Beach, State Parks, so many options! This group has fun doing it too!
It was so good to see people we have been missing.
We exchange a small paintings each year. Each artist who brings one, gets one randomly. This year, I was thrilled to receive one from Dianne Meadow. Having done this exchange for 20 years, we all have a little collection of each other’s work. I treasure each one.
Then, all the classes and their plus ones gathered at Town Theatre to see one of our own perform. Kathy Hartzog was Martha Watson in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. A very fun production. It was such a fine time. It was very nice to meet daughters, sons, parents of all the students.
Here is the packed House awaiting the performance.
Town Theatre is “the oldest community theatre building in continuous use in the United States and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.”
So, the classes are over, and my December break has begun. I hope to be painting and knitting. Looking forward to seeing all the students return in January.
Thank you for your interest in my painting practice. Here is a new puzzle for you.

Such a lovely tradition. I didn’t know about the theatre. Wish I’d been with you. A live musical. Hard to beat
You can be my plus one! Really uplifting. Love to Janet. Rest to you both..❤️
I love the puzzles! Looks like a good time was had by all.
