Moving Right Along

Sep 10, 2022

Big Blue is moving right along. I am sneaking up on the close. All the shapes are in the correct place. Now, I am making connections between each shape. I call this “minding my edges.” This gives (hopefully) the illusion of depth.

I wanted to share where the process is now in a new way; I have made a very short video for you. My first time trying this, so please share you experience with me – good or bad.

It is also on my Instagram account here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CiV988zAVRE/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Big Blue taking over the studio.

Current state of studio is cluttered – again! The supplies are getting jumbled, and I am running out of manganese blue!

To take a break, I reach for some inspiration in my everyday surroundings. Here are the last roses of summer from our garden. A little sketching helps to loosen me up. Notice I didn’t pick something blue.

Inspired by the last roses of summer.

Thank you for looking in.

See you next week – Until then, I will be tangled up in blue! : )

Thank you, thank you. Did it come across to large? I couldn’t find a way to size it down. On my Mac it was huge! My studio is a wreck!
