Finding a Happy Ending

Robert McNinch supports the arts!
I wish I knew how many times Robert has held my painting so that I could photograph it.
This is supporting the arts!

With my trip to the coast postponed, I needed to find a happy ending. I decided to work on some paintings that were started in the field but not quite finished. Sometimes they need a little, sometimes they need a lot. So, I looked for a happy ending to the paintings.

There was glitter in the air on this bright, beautiful and blue-green day.

I was inspired by the clouds as they turned dark as the sun went down behind them.  Everything got quiet as the evening settled in.

“Look beyond the beauty of our coastal wetlands, and you’ll find this habitat hard at work. Wetlands filter our water, protect our coastal communities from floods, and provide habitat for fish and other wildlife.”  NOAA

A list of things we can do to protect the wetlands can be found here.

Thank you for stopping by this week. I look forward to sharing more paintings with you soon.

I think it is awesome how you catch the mood of the marsh! When looking at the paintings its almost as if you are there at that exact time.

That makes me smile; the chances are you WERE there at that exact time. Maybe it is touching a memory. I love you you. Thank you for holding my paintings.
