When Life Gives Me Lemons, I paint them!

Sep 29, 2025

I was lucky that my friend Dawn Reardon grew the most beautiful Meyer lemons this spring. They were absolutely beautiful. Before I zested and juiced each one, I painted them! Here are the best of the bunch.

I have lots of painting to do. Here’s the plans so far.

First up, Litchfield Beach to my annual workshop and paint out.  Then, straight from there I am going to Springbank Retreat Center in Kingstree, SC.  Springbank has a long history of honoring Eco-Spirituality and the Arts.  I am delivering a donation for my friend Pam.  While there I will spend 7 days and nights immersing myself in meditation, nature, and art.  Botany Bay Island near Edisto, SC is my next stop for a few days.  After Edisto, I am planning to paint in Savannah, GA on Wilmington Island, Tybee Island, and Fort Pulaski.

Leaving the plans open after that for fate to play its part.  Any suggestions?

Please look for my blog posts each Sunday as I share my paintings and location with you each week.

Thank you very much,

Michel

P.S.  Spread the word that I am resuming my painting practice and will be sharing with you as before.
