“Tell us why you paint…”
Feb 19, 2022
I didn’t get those crayons in my neighbor’s closet, but Mama made sure I had something creative in my hands at all times. Grade school gave me time for the Arts, and in High School I hid out in the Art Department. There has never been a time when I didn’t make art of some kind.
As an adult, I have always had a strong desire to paint the great outdoors. The artistic inclinations I had as a child grew into a successful career as a visual artist. I am forever grateful to those who showed me the way.
I am an artist who paints landscapes, because the beauty of the natural world soothes me and provides great joy. It is my hope that it will provide the same for those who enjoy my work.
Happy to get the suggestion to tell you why I paint.
It is nice to get to know each other. Look forward to hearing from you!
Michel
So beautifully said
Thank you, friend. I miss seeing you.
That is awesome. You found your gifted talent at an early age. Love it! Your works are beautiful!
I remember the roadside waterfall near Greenville , wonderful day and ice cold water to sooth your feet !
