A Marvelous Night for a Moondance

it's a marvelous night for a moondance

It’s a marvelous night for a moondance. Thought I would work on these moonlit images from a beautiful October night at Givhans Ferry State Park. The fire was crackling, someone was playing guitar, the moon was rising in the Lowcountry forest. Painting them reminded me of a wonderful stay at the park cabins and painting with friends. Have you stayed at SC’s parks?

You are seeing these paintings first. In fact, the paint is still wet. : ) They will be part of my exhibition for the annual Spring show at Stormwater Studios, which opens this coming Friday night. Here is a link to more information.

If you would like to see these paintings before the opening, I am having a little happy hour for my VIPs on April 21, 6-8pm at Stormwater Studios. It would be great to see you. Thank you for your interest in my painting practice. If you are enjoying these posts, please consider sharing them. There are share buttons on the top right.
